Base-stealing wizard Lou Brock proved his top-notch play at the plate by collecting his 3,000th hit on August 13, 1979. Ironically, the hit came against the Chicago Cubs, the same team that had traded him 15 years earlier for St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Ernie Broglio. Dennis Lamp was the pitcher who served up the historic single to Brock. Upper Deck has captured the moment via this autographed 5” x 7” black-and-white photo. The framed and matted item comes with authentication by Upper Deck Authenticated.
